Five Pet Peeves of Mine that May Actually Be Kind of Original

1. When you're at an intersection waiting to make a left turn, and the guy facing you stops his right turn to let you go. It's your right-of-way, man! Don't back down to me!
   
2. People who talk during the coming attractions at the movie theater. I know the movie hasn't started, but the trailers are part of the experience for me.
   
3. When people assume I was a computer science major because I work in the web group. I'm a writer/editor, not a coder.
   
4. When my kids are acting extremely cute and well-behaved in public, and old people still glare at us. Hey, you can't hate ALL kids, you have to make exceptions for the good ones!
   
5. When the same people bail at the last minute for every event you've invited them to. We get it already, you don't like hanging out with us. Why don't you just say no in the first place?
