Just a Quick Note

I know my last post was quite depressing.  That was exactly how I felt when writing it--depressed.  Despite the fact that Sindri is sitting five feet from me, looking totally normal and sleeping soundly, it seems that my wife and I have already begun to mourn him.  He's very much a part of our family, and neither of us took the news of his illness well.  So we both vented our emotions into our respective blogs.

But just like we're trying to move forward and find something positive to latch onto in the real world, so shall we in the virtual world.  I promise the next post on this blog will be totally inane and mindlessly cheery.  You needn't worry that this site will become 365 days of whine and cheese.  We'll have some more sadness before we're through with Sindri's story, but there's no need to dwell on it at the moment.  :)
