I was really good with my Christmas shopping this year, buying 90% of my gifts in October and November and keeping them at the office so my wife and kids wouldn’t find them.  There were, however, a couple of gifts that I bought online a little closer to Christmas.  For those, I was concerned that they wouldn’t make it in time, so I bit the bullet and paid extra to ensure on-time delivery.

One of those online gifts arrived on Christmas Eve.  Close, but still okay.  The other, though, still hasn’t made it in.  I’ve already contacted the company to complain, but apparently, they don’t have anyone reading emails or taking calls over the holidays.  They did send me, through an auto-emailer, the UPS tracking code when the package was shipped.  It’s been very entertaining.  Here’s where my shipment has gone since being shipped (keep in mind that it was shipped a full week after I placed my order):

So my package left Canada, returned to Canada, left Canada again, and has been touring the Midwest ever since like some off-broadway production of Les Miserables. Will it ever get to my wife? Only time will tell…
